Hello from Hamburg, everyone!
We know for sure now that Hamburg is a crafty place. We discovered “Lockengeloet” today, a shop that showcases and partly creates recycled and reappropriated products.
Lockengeloet is also screening Handmade Nation tonight – an inspiring movie about makers, doers and artists in the US.
If you find yourself in Hamburg, you have to go to “Herr Max“, the yummiest cake shop around. We tried out 6 different cakes, and all where very morish. The ambience is authentically alternative independent.

Hi all,
just to alert you that the NZ Post’s postage just went up for large letters outside of New Zealand: from $2.50 to $2.80 for letters to Australia, and from $3.00 to $3.30 for letters to the rest of the world. That’s the shipping cost for orders on our site – http://worldsweetworld.com/currentissue.

Hello there…
I’m Greta, World Sweet World’s new intern- I’ll be updating this blog for the next few weeks (among other things).
Pleased to meet you!
This morning I gave a short talk to one of the senior classes at Houghton Valley Primary School. They were great, and very patient with me as I explained stuff that they probably already knew. They did ask some great questions though, so I guess I had a bit of knowledge that they didn’t.
My particular favorites were, “how much do you earn” (little capitalist!), and “can you leave your email address when you go?”. I’m expecting a few projects to turn up in my inbox in the not-so-distant future.
Thanks for having me, guys!
Hannah
